Review the “Our Ideas About Water” chart together. Bring a small tub of water and the three tools introduced today (sponge, funnel, and tube), as well as the baster introduced yesterday, and ask children to demonstrate what they can do with them. Ask the children if they have any new ideas they would like to try out with the tools.
Tell children that at pick-up, you will give their parents or guardians a Family Science Letter on water.
The letter has lots of water explorations that they can do together with their families. Encourage children to share any discoveries they make at home.
