Go over the “Our Ideas about Sound” chart and ask:
- Can you remember some of the things you heard when we listened this morning? We were very quiet while we listened—how did that help us?
- You were detectives today, and figured out what objects made the mystery sounds, even though you couldn’t see them. What were some of the ways you were able to do that? Explain that tomorrow during free exploration, you’ll set up “Sound Detectives” in the learning center so children can play the game together on their own.
