Display the photos you took of the monster puppets and their shadows during Shadow Theater: Monster Shadows. Have the children match the puppets with their shadow, as they did for the animal puppets yesterday. Ask,

Which monster’s shadow is in this picture?
If you put the monster puppet closer to the light, what do you think would happen to the shadow? What if you put the puppet farther away from the light? Which way do you think the monster would be scarier? Why do you think that?

Next, reflect on the Freeze Dance activity by asking,

What was your favorite frozen position? Why?
How did you know your shadow would freeze whenever you would stop?
