Review today’s explorations and ideas about ramps.

Ask children to describe some of the features of the roller coaster they built. What part of building their roller coaster was the hardest? Why? Were there any parts of the roller coaster they needed to build several times before they worked? How did they go about testing their roller coaster?

Turn to the first page spread of Roller Coaster. Ask children to point out the section of the roller coaster they think would be the most fun to ride. Ask them to point out the steepest sections and the flattest sections.
